Customizing COGS, lead time and name

You can customize product details on the Products page.

Displaying custom product name

If you enter a Short Name, some pages will show the short name instead of the title.

Computing P&L

If you enter the production and freight costs, the sales and advertising pages will factor them when computing profitability, ROI, break-even selling price, and break-even bids.

Restock forecasting

If you enter the Production Lead Time and Freight Lead Time, the restock forecasting page will use them to calculate your restock date and quantity to restock.

Customizing COGS based on a date range

Click the arrow on the left to expand the product row. Click Add to input a new line item.

If you set the Start Date and End Date, the system will use these values when computing COGS within these dates.

In the above example, the COGS is $1.60 from 1st July 2022 to 31st July 2022.

From 1st August 2022 onwards, it will compute COGS based on the default landing cost.

If you set only the Start Date, the system will use the COGS from the Start Date onwards.

In the above example, the COGS is $1.60 from 1st July 2022 onwards.
