Incorrect FBA fees

Incorrect FBA fees are likely due to pending orders and Amazon API returning incorrect projected fees.
Scale Insights projects FBA fees for pending orders
When orders are pending, FBA fees are not shown in Seller Central and are unavailable through API.
To estimate P&L for pending orders, Scale Insights uses Amazon's API to get the projected fees for each product.
However, Amazon API does not always return the correct fees, such as for FBA small and light products.
If you use Amazon's profitability calculator, it will likely show the same incorrect FBA fees.
FBA fees become accurate for shipped orders
When an order status is shipped, Seller Central will show the actual FBA fees for that order, and the correct fees will also be available through API.
Scale Insights will use the actual FBA fee to compute P&L for each order.
Difference in FBA fees for shipped orders
Recently shipped orders may show projected FBA fees due to data latency from the Amazon API.
These fees will be updated eventually to reflect the accurate amount.
Verifying FBA fees for shipped orders
1. Go to Sales > Search Orders
2. Filter by the date and product.
3. Look for shipped orders.
4. Click on the Actions button to go to Seller Central to verify the FBA fees in Scale Insights are correct.
Note: You can overwrite the projected fulfillment fees in the Product module.
